Fluridone Under Registration Review with USEPA

Fluridone, the active ingredient in WhiteCap®, is currently undergoing Registration Review at the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). The cost of satisfying the data requirements, identified in a summary document issued by USEPA, will run into the millions of dollars. As you may know, fluridone is a relatively small product in the U.S. but its importance in managing invasive aquatic weeds is essential to public and private waters. It is vitally important that USEPA understands the commercial importance of this compound. Want to help?
